Meditation
Similar to the way we use weights to train our outer muscles; we use meditation to train our inner muscle - our mind. Without training we may find our mind to be a busy, noisy, and sometime even chaotic place, filled with thoughts going here and there and everywhere. Try closing your eyes and thinking of nothing for 60 seconds and notice what happens.
YOU are not your thoughts; you do have the ability to quiet your mind. The practice of meditation is an effective method to cultivate that ability.
Why Meditate?
Your mind is your instrument. Learn to be its master and not its slave. -- Remez Sasson
